Terms of service

These terms outline the responsibilities for Searchers, Finders, acceptable use of the platform, payment expectations, and dispute handling. By using LocateLocation, you agree to these terms.

Service overview

  • LocateLocation is a platform that connects Searchers — users who need information or tasks completed at a specific location — with Finders — users who are nearby and can perform the task.
  • The platform is designed exclusively for location-based guidance and information services such as property checks, shop verification, document pickups, neighbourhood exploration, and similar on-ground tasks.
  • LocateLocation provides the technology platform only. We are not a provider of the services themselves and are not responsible for the actions of individual Searchers or Finders.

Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the platform.
  • Users are responsible for providing accurate registration details, maintaining secure password handling, and lawful use of the platform.
  • One account may support both Searcher and Finder roles when enabled.
  • LocateLocation may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, policy violations, or misuse of the platform.

Searcher responsibilities

  • Searchers must post lawful tasks with accurate descriptions, locations, and supporting media.
  • Tasks must relate to legitimate location-based information or services. Unsafe, deceptive, exploitative, or prohibited requests must not be posted.
  • Searchers are responsible for reviewing proof of completion and approving or rejecting it honestly.
  • Payment approval decisions should be made in good faith based on the proof provided.

Finder responsibilities

  • Finders must complete accepted tasks honestly, follow local laws, and provide truthful completion proof.
  • Finders are independent users and are not employees or representatives of LocateLocation.
  • Finders must respect property rights and local regulations — they must not enter private property without permission, access restricted buildings, enter homes or gated communities without authorisation, or trespass on any property.
  • Finders are expected to gather information only from publicly accessible locations or areas where permission has been granted.

Prohibited use

  • Users must not use the platform for illegal tracking or surveillance, harassment or stalking, fraudulent activities, or misuse of personal or location information.
  • The platform must not be used for hiring Finders for house cleaning, domestic work, babysitting, personal assistant tasks unrelated to location information, security or protection services, or any illegal monitoring activities.
  • LocateLocation reserves the right to remove requests or suspend accounts that misuse the platform.

Information accuracy

  • While we encourage accurate and honest responses, LocateLocation does not guarantee that all information provided through the platform will always be complete, accurate, or up to date.
  • Information shared may be based on local knowledge of the Finder, publicly visible conditions, observations made at the time of the request, or information shared by other users.
  • Users should independently verify important information before making travel, business, rental, or relocation decisions.

Payments & pricing

  • Pricing may include distance-based fare calculated in cumulative slabs, wait-time fees (billed per minute when approved), applicable taxes, and platform fees.
  • Payment is processed through Razorpay and is released to the Finder only after the Searcher verifies and approves the completed work.
  • The platform may review disputes, cancellations, abusive behaviour, and proof-related conflicts on a case-by-case basis.

Property access & permissions

  • LocateLocation respects property rights and local regulations.
  • Finders must not enter private property without permission, access restricted buildings or offices, enter homes, apartments, or gated communities without authorization.
  • LocateLocation is not responsible if property owners refuse access or restrict entry.

Limitation of liability

  • LocateLocation acts solely as a platform that connects Searchers with Finders.
  • LocateLocation is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete information shared by Finders, any disputes between users, decisions made by users based on shared information, or access restrictions imposed by property owners.
  • Users agree that they use the platform at their own discretion and risk.

Changes to these terms

  • LocateLocation may update these terms as the product, payment flows, and legal requirements evolve.
  • Updated terms will be published within the application and on the official website.
  • Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
